Quick photo -- my hair is finally growing out, after many years of failed attempts (usually foiled by watching films with pixie cut heroines (Vivre Sa Vie, Rosemary's Baby, Amelie) and then running out and ruining all of my efforts.
Next week I'm doing a shoot with a salon, and they're going to be dying my hair autumn-y red. I'm excited!

No joke (and I hope this doesn't creep you out) but I just discovered your blog yesterday and was already planning on bringing your picture to my hairstylist in a couple of months because your hair is gorgeous and I want that cut. The way the layers fall in the back is especially great.
It will look beautiful in an autumn red on you -- go for it!

graziaplena: Seriously, you have no idea how happy that makes me! Haha! I grew up with the frizziest WORST hair you can ever imagine (think, triangle head type deal) -- and I've had it cut super short for years, for fear of the unavoidable.
This is the first time I've really attempted growing it out, and for some reason it seems like I've outgrown the terrible frizzes! Thanks for telling me that - you honestly made my day! :D
